The Wisconsin Dells - a photo essay

The crowd relaxing awaiting the start of the parade. Bands are a popular favourite.

I found that American parades are different from English or Asian ones. Here people could form a single unit of one person and be part of a parade - hence its unduly long length.

Each one in his own step. Reminded me of one of those American cartoon movies
Flags play an important part in American culture - without it, it seems you cant be American !! You find one in every public building, on private housing, in every location.
Where would they be without the ultra long vehicle ?

And ofcourse the Mommas cheer leading group has to be part of it along with the dray horse following - i loved the carriages with their massive horses.

And here is the modern day version of the dray horse !!
The Dells are beautiful as the rocks alongside the water's edge have incredible colour striations.

These vehicles have been adapted for land or water and are excellent mode of transportation.
Finally, unless you have not been on a humungously large upside down superfast exhibit like this below, you have not enjoyed an American entertainment park. Its fun but scary.
